Beavers is for children aged 6-8 years old. One of the youngest members of the Scout Group. They make new friends, try new activities and have lots and lots of fun. They are introduced to outdoor activities and have the opportunity to be creative and explore their local community, as well as experience the excitement of joining in on Beaver Scout Sleepovers with their friends.

The Beaver Colony is split up into smaller groups which are called Lodges, in which they will often complete activities together in. During their time as a Beaver Scout, they will get the chance to try a wide range of activities including trips, days out and sleepovers. They will also do work towards completing activity and challenge badges which after they have been awarded, they can wear on their Beaver Uniform.

After they have finished their time as a Beaver, they are able to move onto the next section of scouting, Cub Scouts.
